Apparently, podcasts are all the rage now. Almost a quarter of Aussies are consuming this type of new media, ranging from teenagers to 50-year-olders. And the number is climbing--there has been a 52% growth in listeners just last year. It's not totally surprising since podcasts are as diverse as apps: most are specialized, belonging to a very defined niche. You can find podcasts with high production value relating to sports, business, entertainment, and even for learning a new language.
They're also very easy to consume. You can listen to it at home, while driving, working, commuting, or sweating buckets at a gym. Speaking of sweating buckets, you probably have a workout playlist you bump with every time you hit the weights. Why not inject a few of these highly recommended podcasts on your playlist so you could maximise your physical and mental gains.
We've compiled 5 top pods for you to listen (and deep-dive into) that would benefit your well-being greatly. There's a huge collection of fitness and wellness podcasts out there but why only five? It's a growing list--we only handpicked these because there's no way you can keep up with 20 of them.
