If you're reading this, consider yourself warned.
Major spoilers of Avengers: Endgame has been found leaking all over the internet. Screenshots, gifs, short clips, images, and detailed posts are already circling around Facebook, Twitter, and Reddit despite Disney's efforts to shroud the film in secrecy.
Some Marvel fan forums and communities have called for social media 'abstinence' for at least the next 10 days, just to make sure that everyone could have a better chance to avoid the spoilers.
Disney and the Avengers filmmakers, Joe and Anthony Russo, haven't denied or confirmed anything relating to the mentioned leak. However, they appeared to have addressed it via a tweet featuring a letter from the directors and the hashtag #DontSpoilTheEndgame.
On the other side of the argument, there are some people who are thinking that this is a carefully orchestrated plot to hype up the film. Dan Hill, CEO of Hill Impact, a marketing, lobbying, and PR firm suggested:
“I think these are opportunities for companies to show their character in a way that maybe the public isn’t used to seeing,” he said. “It’s an opportunity for Disney, which tends to be very buttoned up, to have some fun.”
Paul Dergarabedian of Comscore also echoed the same sentiment:
“If anything this scandal is only serving to ratchet up the level of conversation related to the film and raising the awareness of it to even higher levels,”
So take it what you will, but don't say we didn't warn you.
