The brand synonymous with binge-watching and online streaming, Netflix, is coming up with its own fashion series for the first time. The show will be called Next In Fashion and it will follow a 10 episode, competition-style reality TV format ala 'Project Runway'.
The show will be co-hosted by two of the most popular and most visible fashion experts and style icons: the king of television fashion Tan France from Netfilx's Queer Eye and British It girl, fashion designer and author, Alexa Chung.
Details about the show were announced over the weekend, which got fans very excited about what's to come. The hosts already confirmed their involvement via their Instagram accounts although the premiere date is yet to be announced.
For the pilot season, 18 designers will compete to win $250,000 and an exclusive collection with London-based fashion magazine & online luxury fashion retailer Net-A-Porter. These designers will also be judged by the hosts themselves and a few celebrity guests which so far includes Instagram’s Eva Chen and celebrity stylist Elizabeth Stewart. The show will no doubt be another binge-fest for Queer Eye, Project Runway, and Next Top Model fans everywhere.
