For some people, their Monday or Tuesday (depending on where they were in the world) came to a screeching halt when images of their well-lit, carefully filtered, and properly hash-tagged #brunches failed to be posted on everyone's favourite social media app: Instagram.
The sharing platform went out for hours due to causes not yet known or disclosed--frustrating most of its billion-plus active users.
Everyone should know by now that a massive outage like this will not pass by the netizens of the Internet quietly. An appropriately formed hashtag was born: #InstagramDown, to express the emotions surrounding the event, and expressions came aplenty.
